Gabby was motivated to fight for our environment after a school trip to a Malaysian coral reef nursery sparked fear for our polluted oceans.
She is part of the UK Student Climate Network who mobilised a nationwide movement of 300,000 people striking for the climate in September 2019 and an Advocate for the Global Schools Program. Gabby also represented the UK and Malaysia on the World Oceans Day Youth Council and has led a range of campaigns and events on eliminating single-use plastics.
In addition, Gabby has impacted the lives of thousands through her work supporting refugee education as the founder of Horizon of Hope.
She has spread her message to thousands of people across the world who have been inspired to make crucial changes for our environment and support refugee education in the UK and abroad.
