To Zubair, this seemed grossly unfair, and so at just 16 years old he decided to set up a blog to make learning resources available, completely free of charge. The blog also promotes the notion that quality education is a fundamental right, not a privilege.
‘ZNotes’ was born and Zubair’s high-quality and concise revision notes were discovered by students all over the world.
Today, with hundreds of contributors, ‘ZNotes’ has passed 24 million hits with more than 3.5 million unique visitors, becoming a go-to resource for students and teachers all around the world. In the six years since the inception of ‘ZNotes’, Zubair has become an impressive young leader, supporting a growing community of students to share revision notes. Zubair has also taken up many youth ambassador positions, most notably at One Young World and spoken at global forums advocating youth empowerment in achieving the SDGs including the 40th UN General Assembly and ITU Innovation Forum.
