The Diana Award Mentoring Programme Online Careers Fair aims to provide every young person with the knowledge and skills they need to support their career ambitions.
We deliver our Online Careers Fair event annually in partnership with our volunteers. The event consists of a week of hour-long online webinars and panel discussions, hosted on Zoom and facilitated by our Mentoring team alongside volunteers.
This event is aimed at providing young people with insight into the world of work, improving knowledge of routes into education and employment, and supporting the development of career skills.
Online Careers Fair is available to all young people aged 11-18, but will be particularly useful for young people aged 15-18.
Told us that they felt more confident about what they wanted to do, and more ambitious about their future careers.
Told us they had a clearer understanding of the industries available to them.
Told us that they were able to develop an understanding of the skills needed to pursue different career options.
This event usually takes place every July and is open to schools and young people both nationally and internationally.
If you are a young person or a school interested in this opportunity, please express your interest by emailing mentor@diana-award.org.uk to stay updated.
Each day of Online Careers Fair is themed around an employment sector or held in collaboration with one of our partner organisations, with session topics selected by mentees on our twelve-week programme and our Social Action Accelerator Pilot. Previous topics include:
