The Diana Award are open to anyone wishing to nominate a young person aged 9 – 25 years old who have been carrying out their activities for a minimum of 12 months. Only adults who know the young person in a professional capacity can nominate for a Diana Award, therefore family members cannot make nominations. There is no limit to the number of nominations an individual can submit for The Diana Award. Please ensure that you read the Nomination Guidelines before nominating, to check that your entry complies with the criteria.
The Diana Award have the right to withdraw a nomination if it becomes clear that the nomination has been made by a family member or the nominee does not meet the required age range, service length, or evidence supporting the nomination is found to be false or written by the nominee.
If during the course of the entry and judging period the nominator’s contact details changes, or the nominator e.g. retires, takes maternity/paternity leave, the nominator is responsible for informing The Diana Award of these contact changes.
Entries are accepted only via The Diana Award nomination centre website. Any entries emailed, posted or faxed will not be accepted. The Diana Award accepts no responsibility for failure to submit entries by the stated deadline or for incomplete entries or those lost due to problems with the internet. Proof of completion is not proof of delivery. All nominations must be received 11:59pm GMT on 10 March 2023 for the Awards year 2023. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted, nor will any that are incomplete on this date. Nominators may be asked to provide additional evidence or materials after submission.
The Diana Award will not pass on details of the nominator to anyone making a general enquiry and all information submitted within the nomination form is confidential. All material submitted will only be shared internally with The Diana Award team, and the voluntary judging panels. If successful, the nominee will be required to give consent for The Diana Award to produce publicity material based on the nomination, which may be edited by The Diana Award if required and may be used by The Diana Award in any form in the media worldwide.
The decision of the external judging panels is final in every situation, as is that of The Diana Award in all matters affecting the Awards, and no correspondence on this topic will be entered into.
Entry to The Diana Award is deemed acceptance of these rules and agreement to be bound by them. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also agree to our general website terms and conditions.
