Twelve outstanding young people, from across the world, take centre stage for The Diana Award’s Change_Makers campaign to kick-off their 20th anniversary year and drive a new wave of nominations for award given out in memory of Princess Diana.
The Diana Award is the most prestigious accolade a young person can receive for their social action or humanitarian work. The youth charity benefits from the support of The Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex.
The launch of the campaign comes as new Survation research, commissioned by The Diana Award, reveals over a third of young people and adults say that society has negative view of young people. On the contrary 86% of young people say that it’s important for them to have a positive impact on society with over half (59%) volunteering and (69%) donating money over the past year.
All the young people leading the campaign – who come from the UK, USA, Canada, India and UAE – challenge negative stereotypes young people are often labelled with.

The Change_Maker campaign has been generously supported by British Airways as part of their commitment to have a positive impact in local communities, in particular through supporting children and young people living challenging lives in the UK and overseas.

The campaign is the second major project that brand design agency Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR) has supported The Diana Award on after a major brand identity update in 2017.
