ONLINE WORK EXPERIENCE_

Responding to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and resulting lockdowns, online Work Experience emerged as a proactive solution. A staggering 61% of employers had to cancel work experience opportunities in 2020, with nearly half of them foreseeing a decline in future placements within their businesses (Sutton Trust 2020).

Over the last three years, our initiative has successfully engaged with over 2,000+ young individuals through our online sessions. Following their participation in 2023, 93% of young people expressed their willingness to recommend it to their friends and 82.5% felt they had gained valuable insights into the skill sets required for various career paths.

Scheduled annually for one week in July, should you wish to receive 2024 updates please register your interest.

The week consists of online sessions and afternoon panel discussions with support from our professional volunteer mentors who will be providing insight into the world of work. In 2023 sessions were designed  around five employment sectors:

  • Technology
  • Finance
  • Business
  • Education & Training
  • Social Action

If you are a young person, you can register yourself. If you are a teacher or youth worker, you can register on behalf of your young person or people.

Scheduled annually for one week in July, should you wish to remain updated on our 2024 event, please register your interest above.
