Peer Support Group

Wirral Grammar School for Boys

The Peer Support Group are a group of sixth form students dedicated to ensuring that life is a positive experience for their entire school community. The group heads up the schools mentoring programme; ensuring youngest students at the school have assistance with issues related to their studies, bullying and personal issues. The group has also lead and delivered an anti-bullying project with a primary school in a deprived area in their spare time. They engaged the primary students in a series of workshops aimed at tackling bullying behaviour and helped them to develop their own anti-bullying policy which led the school to achieve Anti-Bullying Charter Status.
