Clitheroe Youth ForumĀ

The Clitheroe Youth Forum have spent 100s of hours researching the deaths of airmen who died in 15 separate plane crashes during World War 2 and worked to create Rolls of Remembrance and six dedication stones close to the crash sites displaying the names of the fallen heroes. The group were also involved in an annual remembrance service writing poems and prayers and planting trees dedicated to the servicemen. Many of the group had relatives who fought in World War 2 and they wanted to ensure that their sacrifice was not forgotten.
