To date our ‘Anti-Bullying Ambassador Programme’ has trained over 35,000 young people in the UK, empowering them to lead real change in their schools and promote a culture which celebrates and tolerates difference.
We’re looking for another person to join us, as we aim to train thousands more young people across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is confident in facilitating session for young people and staff on and offline, is able to adapt training to various stakeholders, embraces new opportunities, and who is meticulous in their attention to detail.
You will deliver multiple Training Sessions during the week, during term-time, primarily to primary schools but on occasion to secondary. The rest of your time will be spent collaborating with your colleagues to develop resources, organising training events and recording the incredible impact you are having so we can share your success stories.
Please note that given the current restrictions in place as a result of Covid, and to help reduce the amount of travel required, we are looking for someone who lives in any of the following regions: West Midlands or East Midlands, and who would be happy to travel extensively in this area, either by car or public transport, with some overnight stays required depending on the location of the school/s.
When not delivering training, the post holder will be based from their own home, with support from the wider team given remotely and occasional trips to our London office as required.

- Deliver up to 4 Anti-Bullying ambassador training sessions a week during term time both virtually and in person (in line with government and school guidelines)
- Support on key administrative duties to ensure smooth running of Anti-Bullying Ambassador training events, to include booking travel, accommodation and preparing resources for training events
- Take responsibility for any data management of programmes of work to feed into impact reporting
- In collaboration with the Events and Communication teams, support on the recruitment of students and teachers to training events, via email, phone, post, and contribute to social media content
- Support on the production any associated curriculum based resources for schools to reinforce the programme’s work, to be used both pre and post training events
- Support on monitoring and evaluation of the training (in conjunction with the Impact and Evaluation Team). This will include collation of case studies to demonstrate impact of the programme and input of training data
- Prepare and provide regular reports, in line with KPIs and targets set
- Support on the organisation and delivery of Anti-Bullying Week Conferences and other Anti-Bullying Campaigns or events throughout the year
- Participate in training focus groups to inform best practice to colleagues across departments
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, as and when required
- Ability to address appropriate training content to a wide variety of audiences

- Proven experience track record of delivering training or facilitation to large groups of both young people and adults
- An understanding of peer to peer education models
- Knowledge of current school curriculum
- Knowledge of issues affecting young people online and offline including bullying, mental health and any influences young people in their peer group
- Extensive knowledge of child online safety, school and government policies and staff responsibility in executing duties
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining a performance and accountability culture that measures and meets its KPI’s
- Experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload to meet deadlines
