Why Nominate?

Cameron and Freddie FlintoffThe Diana Award celebrates socially active and inspirational young peoople.

The Award is given to young people nominated each year between the ages of 9 and 18 in the following categories in the UK:

  • Diana Active Campaigner
  • Diana Anti-bullying Champion
  • Diana Champion Fundraiser
  • Diana Champion Volunteer
  • Diana Courageous Citizen

The International Diana Award accepts nominations for young people outside the UK.

Every successful nominee will receive a prestigious national award and a certificate signed by the British Prime Minister, which boosts their confidence and encourages them to do more. Groups will receive a plaque to showcase their hard work and individuals will receive a silver lapel pin.

Receiving a Diana Award is only the beginning. Through the Diana Network and our anti-bullying and mentoring programmes, we encourage, empower and engage young people to keep up the good work!
