If you’re looking to nominate an inspirational or socially active young person or group for the Diana Award, then you’ve come to the right place!
The Diana Award is an award for life and celebrates the amazing achievement of inspirational young people who defy expectation and challenge negative stereotypes that are often applied to them. The Award is given to 3,000 young people nominated each year between the ages of 9 and 18 in the following categories in the UK:
- Diana Active Campaigner
- Diana Anti-bullying Champion
- Diana Champion Fundraiser
- Diana Champion Volunteer
- Diana Courageous Citizen
In 2011, the International Diana Award was launched and opened up to young people outside the UK.
Every successful nominee will receive a prestigious national award and a certificate signed by the British Prime Minister, which boosts their confidence and encourages them to do more. Groups will receive a plague to showcase their hard work and individuals will receive a silver lapel pin.
But receiving a Diana Award is only the beginning.
Through the Diana Network and our anti-bullying and mentoring programmes, we encourage, empower and engage young people to keep up the good work!
Nominate today and together we can celebrate the positive contributions that young people are making in their schools and communities.
