Diana Active Campaigner Award
At a young age, Mohammed Donzo identified Education as one of Liberia’s greatest areas for improvement. Mohammed quickly began advocating change in the country’s policies and in its education system. He was able to do this with not only great leadership, such as when he organised 3,000 students for a successful non-violent rally in front of the Liberian President to re-open schools after the Ebola Crisis, but also with strength and wisdom beyond his years. To date, over 1 million Liberian students have directly benefited from his advocacies.
