Anti-Bullying Volunteers Team
Diana Anti-Bullying Champion Award
The response was spectacular when The Asimenia Featham Schools of English asked for volunteers to initiate an Anti-Bullying Campaign. Since October 2014, the 30 volunteers from Rethymno, Crete, have tirelessly organised numerous outstanding and innovative activities and events to encourage the townspeople to take a stand against bullying and, whenever possible, to help people in a practical way. In December 2014 the Team collected over 2,5 tons of goods, accompanied by Anti-Bullying Christmas Cards, which were distributed to 610 underprivileged families. Within 12 months, the Anti-Bullying Volunteers Team managed to make a huge difference in a country suffering from the detrimental effects of a financial crisis.
