JJ Zipwires through Wembley Stadium

14 year old JJ Hine from Reading zip wired across Wembley stadium at 25mph on 16th August to raise money for the Diana Award.

In 2009 JJ suffered a serious illness and spent several weeks in hospital, during this difficult time JJ’s parents stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. JJ and his family were so grateful for this support that JJ decided to fundraise for them, now at just 14 years old he has raised over £15,000! JJ received the Diana Champion Fundraiser Award in 2011 for his dedication to raising money.

Since receiving the Diana Award, JJ has volunteered at numerous Diana Award ceremonies and networking events and he even took over as Chief Executive for a day.

JJ said: “The Diana Award has given me so many amazing opportunities and given me experiences that I will use all throughout my life and I want to give something back.”

All proceeds raised from JJ’s zip wiring challenge will be donated to the Diana Award. To sponsor JJ and his mum please visit thier fundraising page
