Maggie Turner OBE said:
“After nine amazing years at the Diana Award, I am retiring from being Chief Executive. I have had a wonderful experience and truly believe it is the best job in the world.
I’ve seen the Award grow and develop and have had the pleasure of seeing thousands of exceptional young people receive the Diana Award.
It is wonderful that so many Award Holders have helped us plan the Diana Network and help promote the Diana Award in schools and communities. I continue to be inspired by the nominations I read and hearing about Award Holders’ experiences at events and award ceremonies.
I am proud that as a youth organisation we have strived to put young people at the centre of what we do. It is vital that we listen to your aspirations and ideas for developing the Award in the future.
As such, I will continue to work with the Award Holders to make sure that young peoples’ voices and opinions are heard.”
