We’ve got good news, you’re in the right place! Whether you’re a team of co-workers or a group of friends who want to get together and give back in a meaningful way, we’d love to hear from you.

We were buzzing from the first time we went there to the last time, it is something that really does motivate you, you can understand that it’s not just a work environment that you can succeed in, you can contribute outside into the society and make a difference. That’s something that’s really motivating.”

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We think everyone has something to offer. If you’re currently employed then we have a mentoring opportunity for you, regardless of industry, age or experience. We’re passionate to break the stereotypical view of who a mentor can be.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS_

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

The concept is simple but the impact can be life changing. All we ask is that you commit 90 minutes of your time every fortnight at a school near you over a six month period. And don’t worry our Youth Facilitators will be with you every step of the way at each of your sessions.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE DIANA AWARD MENTORING PROGRAMME?

The Diana Award Mentoring Programme combines the skills of mentors from the world of work and trained Diana Award Youth Facilitators. Together they guide a group of young people (years 8-10) through bi-weekly sessions over a 6 month period designed to give mentees access to opportunities, vital skills training and embarking upon a journey of social action.

The programme has 3 main aims:

  • To instil active citizenship through youth led social action and volunteering
  • To improve post-secondary work-place readiness through careers and employability training
  • Develop character and ‘mental toughness’
  • WHAT IS THE FINANCIAL COMMITMENT?

£0 all we ask is your time and experience to benefit a young person. However if you or your organisation would like to talk more about sponsoring our mentoring initiatives so we can reach more disengaged young people click here.

Otherwise, we’d still love to hear from you and we’ll do our best to get you placed on another team in your area or find another way to get you involved. Please click here and a member of our team will be in touch.
